Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Reigate

Côte Brasserie - Reigate

41 Bell St, Reigate RH2 7AQ, UK – 01737 223666

Two Different Experiences. My friend enjoyed her well done minute steak which was tasty and cooked to her liking. I however, didn't enjoy the dry rib eye steak. It was far too dry and was explained away as probably needing to be served rare - I had it perfectly cooked at medium. Cannot fault the chef, nor the staff who were incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was unfortunate that the piece of steak I had was dry. I'd try the restaurant once more however as the staff were first class.

It is a popular venue but still civilised and more intimate than some of the more family orientated places. The menu is good, well prepared, well presented. It's good quality food, not Michelin starred or anything, but worthy of the price I think. Its definitely a cut above the mainstream restaurants in town.

La Barbe

71 Bell St, Reigate RH2 7AN, UK – 01737 241966

This is rightly considered one of the best French restaurants in Surrey. The ambience, food and service is absolutely excellent. The only place where they lose a star is the slightly higher than reasonable price tag. However, quality does come at a price and if you enjoy a good steak or a "proper" French meal, you won't regret an evening at La Barbe.

So nice in here! We got a 3 course meal and the food is really nice and the waiters are very attentive, every time I wanted their attention they would be over within a second. The only down side was the food took a little long but the food quality was worth it. Will defiantly be back, soooo nice!!

Café Rouge

1 Church St, Reigate RH2 0AA, UK – 01737 223700

Went to the place with a friend. Service was very good. We enjoyed the meal. There was plenty of selection. I am disabled so we were given a seat on the bottom floor. There are 2 disable bays outside cafe. The prices are reasonable.

It's a Café Rouge. Its just every other Café Rouge. If you like Café Rouge you'll like this one. If you don't go elsewhere.
